Why I LIKE Football

football

FYI!  I hated football because my dad used to stop me from watching all my favorite shows when he would watch the Chiefs as I was growing up.  But all of that changed when one of the guys that I was very interested in was a big Steelers fan.  That guy is long gone but my interest in football only increased the year after that in ’05.

In 2005 My friends and I were summoned to volunteer for the Buccaneers, South Florida Bulls, and at another stadium we serviced the Tampa Bay Rays as a mandate for the transitional housing where we all lived in.  One of which a dear friend of mine who worked at Dan Marino’s Fine Food and Spirits as a waiter.  He was a HUGE Patriots fan.  Morey Kunn (name changed to protect his identity)  was just another reason why I became a football fan.  Now, I love the Pats because of him!  October 2005 through January 2006 when I was serving hotdogs and nachos at the Raymond James Stadium is when I fell in love with football.

I never really cared too much for any team except the Bucks even though I served french fries and burgers at the Tropicana Field stadium for the Rays.  And the South Florida Bulls played in the same Raymond James Stadium that the Bucks played in.

My friends and I had so much fun watching the Bucks and serving beer and hotdogs and I think that is how come I learned to love football as opposed to hating it as I did when I was growing up.

Now the Chiefs are my favorite team, I still like the Bucks but the Chargers are my #2 favorite team.  No one gets first place in my heart for football except for the Chiefs because they were the team that I grew up with.  They bring back great memories from my childhood that I treasure.
