On the second day of the Nuclear Regulatory commission Hearing Senator Barbara Boxer had a great suggestion and said she would go back to Ca. and her people at home may shut down the nuclear plants and have an initiative if the #NRC commission can’t answer the questions of how long it will take the NRC to do the 12 recommendations that have been agreed upon.
Well I think closing down all the nuclear plants in the world is a great idea! I don’t like the idea on anything nuclear on this planet! GO SOLAR #NRC hearing.
I hope that Senator Barbara Boxer is right about her opinion saying that the history of safety always stimulates the attacks that some are experiencing at the NRC. I tend to agree with the four commisioners on the board because of my knowledge and experience with abusive men.
Too many times people in authority give the abuser the benefit of the doubt until it is far too late. I recall a time when I had a knife at my throat by my ex-husband (a former Green Beret United States Military stationed in Germany for several years) in the kitchen of the second floor of the apts. we lived in.
My three little children in the were in the other room and the police were down stairs but I could not scream for help or call 911 or do anything at all but wait it out. The police never knew and never found out the tyranny that was happening less then 20 feet from where they stood.
And I have seen it happen too many times that the abuser always seems to lie their way out of bad situations. I pray that this is not the case here. Everyone has stated what a fine job the man has done to protect our country.
I really think that the Senate needs to request that he get anger management classes immediately. And that no further contact with the female personnel until he completes them.
